We collect information you provide directly to us when creating an account, taking typing tests, or subscribing to Pro. This includes your name, email address, password hash, and typing performance metrics (WPM, accuracy, time, errors).
Your data is strictly used to provide, personalize, and improve TypeMaster features, such as displaying your progress analytics, calculating mistake heatmaps, powering global leaderboards, and delivering coach recommendations.
We use secure, HttpOnly session cookies (`typemaster_session`) to authenticate users and persist login state. These are essential cookies required for the site to function and cannot be disabled.
Where advertising is enabled on TypeMaster (for example, via Google AdSense), our advertising partners may set their own cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. TypeMaster does not store credit card numbers or banking secrets on our servers. Razorpay processes payment credentials under strict PCI-DSS compliance standards.
Your typing records and profile information are stored securely in MongoDB Atlas. You have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting our support team.
